Biscuitville is a regional restaurant brand operating 87 locations across the Southeast. With approximately 3,000 employees, the company depends on reliable network infrastructure and in-store technology to support POS transactions, kitchen operations, employee training, and real-time performance monitoring. 

The challenge

Their lean, highly efficient IT team supports restaurant operations across the organization. As Biscuitville evolved, managing telecom services and network infrastructure at scale required a more coordinated approach.

Biscuitville needed centralized oversight of its telecom inventory to better understand the potential for technology investments, to align services to business needs, and manage costs more effectively.

Delivered centralized telecom management

Through Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM), One Source centralized Biscuitville’s telecom services and provided dedicated, expert-led oversight across the full service lifecycle. This improved visibility, eliminated billing surprises, uncovered optimization opportunities, and enabled the organization to right-size services across all locations. 

Expanded into managed mobility services

One Source supported the management of iPads used for employee training, inventory, and other operational activities by renewing MDM licensing, maintaining VPP configurations, and providing troubleshooting support as needed.  

Deployed a Meraki network with 24/7 NOC support

A standardized Meraki network was designed and deployed at each restaurant, as well as Biscuitville’s warehouse and home office. This included firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Through 24/7 NOC monitoring and proactive support, the environment delivers resilient connectivity, rapid issue resolution, and continuous network optimization.
